The conquest of the Prambanan Kingdom
Once upon a time, there was a kingdom called Prambanan. The kingdom was led by Prabu Baka. Prabu Baka was a very good king.
The people of the Prambanan kingdom lived a prosperous life.
Meanwhile, in another place, there is a kingdom called the Pengging Kingdom.
Unlike Prabu Baka, Raja Pengging has a very bad character. He likes to fight to expand the power of his kingdom.
The Pengging Kingdom has a powerful knight named Bondowoso.
Bondowoso has very strong weapons and an army of genies. Bondowoso is better known as Bandung Bondowoso.
One day, King Pengging wanted to conquer the Prambanan Kingdom.
He also summoned Bandung Bondowoso to seize the Prambanan Kingdom.
"I order you and your troops to seize the Prambanan Kingdom!" King Pengging orders.
Bandung Bondowoso immediately carried out his duties. He and his troops attacked the Prambanan Kingdom. With great ease, Bandung Bondowoso managed to conquer the Prambanan Kingdom.
King Baka was killed. As a gift, Raja Pengging allowed Bandung Bondowoso to take care of the Prambanan Kingdom.
Olala, it turns out that the Prambanan Kingdom has a beautiful daughter named Roro Jonggrang.
Bandung Bondowoso also summoned Roro Jonggrang to attend.
"What do you want, Bandung Bondowoso?" asked Roro Jonggrang curtly.
"I want to marry you. Marry me, surely your life will be peaceful and peaceful, "said Bandung Bondowoso.
Of course, Roro Jonggrang was shocked. He did not expect Bandung Bondowoso to propose to him. In fact, Roro Jonggrang did not like Bandung Bondowoso. Bandung Bondowoso is a cruel person. He had killed his father, and made the people of the Prambanan Kingdom miserable. Roro Jonggrang firmly rejected Bandung Bondowoso's proposal.
Hearing the rejection, Bandung Bondowoso did not accept it. He also threatened Roro Jonggrang.
“If you don't want to marry me, your life will be miserable. I will suffer all the villagers, ”Bandung Bondowoso threatened.
Instantly, Roro Jonggrang hesitated.
"I let you think first," said Bandung Bondowoso.
Roro Jonggrang was confused by Bandung Bondowoso's proposal.
If he does not accept Bandung Bondowoso 'proposal, his people will be miserable. However, he did not like Bandung Bondowoso.
All night, Roro Jonggrang thought, how to refuse Bandung Bondowoso, but the people were still safe. Finally, Roro Jonggrang had an idea.
The next afternoon, Bandung Bondowoso met with Roro Jonggrang.
"Have you decided your choice, Roro Jonggrang?" asked Bandung Bondowoso.
“All right, Bandung Bondowoso. I want to marry you, as long as you can meet my conditions. said Roro Jonggrang.
"What's your condition?" asked Bandung Bondowoso arrogantly.
"Build 1000 temples and 2 wells in one night," said Roro Jonggrang.
He is sure, Bandung Bondowoso cannot meet the requirements.
Without thinking, Bandung Bondowoso immediately agreed to Roro Jonggrang's terms.
In the evening, Bandung Bondowoso, assisted by his genie troops, built 1000 temples and 2 wells. Roro Jonggrang, who had watched this calmly, became restless. The estimate is wrong. The Bandung Bondowoso troops completed construction very quickly.
The time was three-quarters of the night. Only two temples have yet to be built.
"How can they thwart their business?" thought Roro Jonggrang.
Aha! Roro Jonggrang had an idea. He summoned all the servants in the palace, and ordered them to burn the straw in the east.
Others sounded dimples, and scattered fragrant flowers. The goal is that the chickens quickly get up and crow.
Without wasting time, the ladies-in-waiting immediately executed the order. Sure enough, the rooster got up and started crowing. When the sky in the east was dark red, the sound of mortar, the smell of flowers, and roosters, the Bondowoso soldiers rushed to leave.
Yes! They thought it was morning.
Finding their troops leaving, Bandung Bondowoso stopped them.
"Return my troops. It's not morning yet! You still have one more temple to build! ” Shouted Bandung Bondowoso.
Unfortunately, Bandung Bondowoso soldiers still left their job.
Bandung Bondowoso became even more angry when he found out that all of this was Roro Jonggrang's doing. He met with Roro Jonggrang, to ask about the incident, but Roro Jonggrang who cackled against Bandung Bondowoso changed his mind after seeing the efforts made by Bandung to marry him. And finally Roro Jonggrang accepted the application from Bandung Bondowoso and was getting married that very night.
